St. Anne’s Elders Home currently operates two branches. The main home is located in Kelaniya, and we also run a sub-branch in Bopitiya. Both locations are managed by the Sisters of Mary Immaculate and provide the same level of dedicated care and compassion.

Our elders receive complete physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual care. This includes assistance with daily routines, regular medical attention, nutritious meals, and opportunities for meaningful companionship. We are committed to maintaining a safe, peaceful, and loving environment that respects each elder’s dignity and well-being.

Yes, elders participate in a variety of spiritual, recreational, and community activities. They enjoy daily prayers and reflections, games and discussions, and moments of connection with other residents. Special occasions sometimes include shared events with children from nearby care centers, fostering joy and a sense of belonging for everyone involved.

St. Anne’s is lovingly cared for and maintained by the Sisters of Mary Immaculate. The home is made possible through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and compassionate members of the community who believe in the dignity and value of every elder.

Yes, we are always grateful to those who wish to support our mission. You can donate funds, sponsor meals, contribute essential items, or volunteer your time and skills. Meals at St. Anne’s are prepared in our own industrial-grade kitchen by dedicated staff who follow strict hygiene and nutrition guidelines. This ensures that every resident receives clean, safe, and balanced meals appropriate for their health needs. Because many elders have medical or dietary restrictions, we kindly ask that you do not bring outside food, except for desserts. Maintaining a consistent and monitored diet helps us prevent health complications and reduce the risk of illness.

We warmly welcome visitors. To schedule a visit, please go to the “Visit Us” section of our website and fill out the request form with your preferred date. Once submitted, our team will review your request and get back to you with confirmation and further details.

If you would like to donate meals, you can choose to sponsor breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Each meal type has a different cost, and you are welcome to select what will be served to the elders. For breakfast, for example, you might select string hoppers with curry, bread with curry, or pittu with curry. For lunch and dinner, we serve full Sri Lankan meals that include rice, vegetables, and proteins, all freshly prepared with care. Donating a meal is a meaningful way to bring joy and nourishment to our residents.

We are always in need of certain items to help with the daily care and comfort of our elders. Some items are required regularly, while others are needed at specific times. A list of these items is available on the “Support Us” page, where you can select what you wish to donate and how many of each item you plan to contribute. This helps us plan effectively and meet the immediate needs of our home.
